Moody Moose is a band that originated in Atlanta, Ga. in the summer of 2010. The members are myself, Joseph Drushal of Hélas Techne, and Lee Smith. We three have played in a multitude of groups together in the past, but this was our first strictly electronic endeavor. Fueled by damp heat, a handful of adult beverages, and a vocoder plugin, Moody Moose shines as a glorious North Star in modern composition, guiding everyone towards a brighter musical future. The album artwork was designed by yours truly, and the mixing/mastering was done by Joseph. Please let it be known that there were no prefabricated loops or synth lines used for this song. Every aspect was composed by one of the three of us on the spot. No rehearsing. One take, one result. This song is titled “Welcome Down”:
